Mindarie and Districts Sea Sports Club was formed in mid 2007 in order to provide 6030 and it's neighbours with a sea sports identity together with a base that gave a first class environment for its members. That base is Quinn's Sports Club situated on Tapping Way and we meet there every Friday from 5:30 pm onwards. The venue has excellent facilities including a bar with friendly staff and a friendly on the pocket price list. Friday also has excellent meal facilities . Please come along and meet us, no invite is necessary, ask for Derek our new Commodore or Peter Price at the door (or any member of the SSC) and you will find a warm welcome.
The club already has a firm financial base together with over 120 members and is actively looking to grow and become the best and most popular S.S.C. in Perth.
M.D.S.S.C. currently has the following sections :
- Fishing including monthly competitions
- General Boating
- Social Section
We are actively looking for members for new sections .
We have top class sponsors who provide excellent prizes for our fishing competitions as well as all round support. We welcome prospective members to fish one of our comps as a guest and general tips can be provided to newcomers to Mindarie. The web master can give you a GPS spot for big dhufish but if you follow it you will end up at Bob's freezer.
Our base has just won planning approval for a large extension so the facilities just get better and better.
